By the virtue of intense austerity, some great saints obtain different miraculous special powers called Riddhis. In this section, we will learn about the 64 such great Riddhis defined in Jainism.
📄️ 1. Buddhi (Intellect) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power that are related to one's uncommon and powerful intellect is known as Buddhi Riddhi.
📄️ 2. Vikriya (Bodily Transformation) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power by which one can perform various bodily transformations is known as Vikriya Riddhi.
📄️ 3. Kriya (Translocation) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power by which one can travel and translocate through different types of media is known as Kriya Riddhi.
📄️ 4. Tap (Austerity) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power by which one can practice the toughest and the greatest levels of Austerity is known as Tap Riddhi.
📄️ 5. Bal (Strength) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power by which one possesses unimaginable immense strength (mental, verbal and physical) is known as Bal Riddhi.
📄️ 6. Aushadh (Medicinal Cure) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power by which one possesses the magnificient ability to cure anyone who is suffering from ailments/diseases is known as Aushadh Riddhi.
📄️ 7. Ras (Food) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power that relates to food; eg. ability to convert even the unfavorable or tasteless food to pure and divine food (ras) is known as Ras Riddhi.
📄️ 8. Kshetra (Area/Region) Riddhi
The Miraculous Power that relates to area; eg. ability to fit something enormous into a minute region is known as Kshetra Riddhi.

From the previous discussion of Riddhi, we have clearly understood that Riddhis are miraculous super-natural powers that are attained by great Jain Saints as a result of their extreme austerity. But, we have often heard about super-natural powers possessed by normal humans as well in our Epics!
